Cancellation Policy

By booking or permitting service, you acknowledge and agree to Blackhawk Mobile Detailing’s policies. You certify that the vehicle is safe, legally operable, and free of hazardous or prohibited items, including but not limited to weapons, firearms, ammunition, drugs or controlled substances, medications, sharps, biohazards, mold or excessive mildew, flammable or corrosive materials, pests, animals, cash, valuables, or unsecured electronics. All personal property must be removed prior to arrival; we are not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to items left in the vehicle. We may refuse or cancel service if unsafe conditions exist and retain deposits or charge up to the full service amount. You assume all risk for pre-existing damage, mechanical or electrical defects, aftermarket installations, fragile components, worn finishes, loose trim, compromised paint, prior repairs, or latent defects. We are not liable for damage arising from ordinary detailing processes (including water, steam, chemicals, extraction, compressed air, or movement of seats and components), nor for consequential, incidental, special, indirect, or post-service damages of any kind. Following service, you are solely responsible for proper aftercare and environmental protection of the vehicle. This includes promptly inspecting the vehicle before our departure; ensuring adequate ventilation and drying (including leaving windows slightly cracked in a secure location after interior cleaning), avoiding immediate exposure to rain, sprinklers, freezing temperatures, direct sunlight, or heavy debris; refraining from driving until brakes dry if applicable; and maintaining reasonable upkeep thereafter. We disclaim all liability for conditions developing after completion of service, including but not limited to mold, mildew, odors, corrosion, staining reappearance, electronic malfunctions, battery issues, warning lights, or mechanical failures. You agree that any claim must be reported before our departure or is waived, and that our total liability, if any, is limited to the amount paid for the specific service. A 2.90% + $0.30 processing fee applies to card payments; cash or check may be used to avoid this fee. Authorization of a card on file permits charges for completed services, approved add-ons, cancellation fees, and policy violations.
